Pengaruh Kamus Elektronik TIK Terhadap Hasil Belajar Siswa pada Aspek Ingatan, Pemahaman dan Penerapan
An English learners‟ dictionary on CD-ROM could support learners in this respect as it provides users with the opportunity to learn more about a word by showing them what it looks like, how it sounds, in what context it can appear, etc. Students are also given the chance to practise what they have learned by working through the vocabulary exercises (which would have to be carefully designed though). All this could help learners to become better users of the language and support them in language learning. If the great potential of an English learners‟ dictionary on CD-ROM as a learning tool was realised, so that it was consulted not only for lexical information, then – once it has been more fully developed and become more learner-oriented – the electronic dictionary could be much more than a reference tool. An exciting prospect!
